Africa Fashion Week Cologne
African fashion gets shown in Europe far more often than African materials get credited. We took part in the 2025 edition in Cologne for that reason.
The connection
The continent our stones come from is the same one the collections come from. On a runway that link is obvious for the length of a show, and it is worth making obvious more often than that.
What we brought
Pieces set with our stones, shown alongside the collections rather than in a separate display case at the back.
What came of it
Contacts with designers who want stones with a stated origin, which is a slower conversation than a trade fair but a more durable one.
